Downfall
I literally froze upon seeing my results. Hmm.. Not like I didn't expect the outcome, but there was still the feeling of disappointment. It was hard for me to say out the results when Mum asked. Devastated. Started to think what went wrong..
C+ for Speech Comm - the module i'm worst at.
B for my IS.
Haha. Twin, we are in the same sampan, although mine's much worse.
Oh well.. I honestly didn't expect it to be this bad..
Maybe I needed this downfall, to make me be more humble.. To make me realize that the outcome reflects the amount of effort I put in.. And to give me a knock in the head, so that I would strive harder next sem and stop procrastinating my work. I guess it's partly my fault for not giving my best for some assignments, as there were too many of them. Whatever it is, Allah knows best. He has His reasons for the things that happen. I must be thankful for what I've gotten and just work harder next sem. Hmm.. Alhamdulillah.. (:
But my GPA is still a shame. Hahahhaha ok bye.

That marks the end
Finally, it's the end of Year 1 after sitting for the exams!
Many things happened within one year. Amazing how time flies.
My notebook was in a terrible condition by the end of the semester..
But then, at the bottom of the front cover, it says...
"A Litter imperfection make U perfect"
(bet the errors are on purpose)
Right before my last paper, the cover fell off.
Oh well.. at least it survived until the end of the semester. xD
And now.. SAY GOODBYE TO THEM!!
Happy collecting dusts on my shelf. (Y)
Soon enough I'll be in Year 2.
Hmm.. No idea what to choose for IS elective modules yet..

Have you ever...
Keeping way too many things to yourself, so many unspoken words, having them all bottled up inside.. After years of it, you feel numb. You don't know what you are feeling and you don't know how to react or what to say.
=(
Have you ever felt this way?

My take from ELC
"Back from ELC, bringing home wonderful experiences, new knowledge, stronger bonds, muscle pains, new determination and warm fuzzy notes. ♥"
Just came back from ELC this noon. I should say that the activities were uplifting and enriching, and I learnt many things from the 2 days and 2 nights. Plus, the company I had were awesome. I was touched at how supportive and caring they all were towards each other, especially during the skipping game. I learnt to know my strengths and accept my weaknesses. Oh, and I can never get tired from reading my warm fuzzy notes again and again. (:
Also, I realized about my responsibility and have a clearer view of what is expected of me. So, my friends.. Forgive me if I were to go MIA and might not always be with you guys. As much as I want to, I hope you'll understand that it will be a tough journey for me throughout the whole year. I would like see it as a challenge that I enjoy going through, instead of perceiving it as something stressful and not worth the troubles faced. Coz it is only when you enjoy doing something that you would give your all. This would be the kind of support that I'll need. (:
Some advices that I would like to share:
- Try not to be judgmental of others. No matter how bad they seem to be, you never know if they are better than you in Allah's eyes. If you know of people who clearly did something wrong, correct him/her in the nicest way possible without condemning. Plus, try to also see and appreciate the good side of people as and when you can.
- Whenever you have opportunities to improve yourself in any ways and think that it's good for you, do not hesitate to seize it. By letting the opportunities slip by, it's like saying "No thanks, I do not wish to be a better person".
- Be open and accepting of criticisms, and take it positively. Sometimes - most of the times - we do not see our weaknesses that others can. Have the mind set that when people criticize you, it is for your own good. Put aside your ego, and thank the person for it. For it is a way of reflecting yourself and working on your negative points.
These are just some of my thoughts. It might not be totally right, but I feel like I should share it. Wallahu a'lam. (:
